Raw Materials

Urea-formaldehyde slow-release compound fertiliser production raw materials mainly include basic chemical raw materials, catalysts, neutralizers and auxiliary ingredients, the core of which is urea and formaldehyde through the polycondensation reaction to generate urea-formaldehyde resin.

Process Stages
1. Raw material pre-treatment: Crush large raw materials and mix them evenly. A condensation reaction is carried out in a reactor to form resin.
2. Granulation: Form the powdered mixture into granules with specific strength and particle size.

Rotary Granulation 5-30 tons/h Wet material is granulated by rolling in an inclined rotating drum.
Double Roll Granulation 1-8 tons/h Dry powder material is formed through a die under high pressure without drying.
Disc Granulation 1-10 tons/h A binder is sprayed onto a tilted rotating disc, and the material rolls into balls.
3. Granule drying and cooling: Use a rotary dryer to reduce moisture, enhance strength, and cool granules to room temperature.
4. Controlled-release coating: Core process using a coating machine to apply semi-permeable layers (acrylic resin, sulphur, etc.).
5. Screening and Grading: Separate finished particles. Oversized particles are crushed; fine powders are returned for re-granulation.
6. Final Packaging: Automatic or manual palletising for packaging in woven or ton bags.
